iainsteel.photography launches with 27% off for 1 week January 27, 2015 15:18
Over a year since I first had the idea to sell prints of my photography through my own website, today I've finally taken the password off the site and opened it to the public. I had hoped to do so much sooner, but I relapsed back into working for the UK civil service for five months. I hadn't planned to, it just sort of happened, but there you go.
As today is Tuesday 27th January, or 27/1, I've decided to launch with 27 per cent off for 1 week. Simply use the voucher code "27OFF" for a 27 per cent reduction in price, valid until the end of Tuesday 3rd February.
The photographs here cover around three years of my life, starting in late 2011, from near the end of my time in Liberia where I worked at their finance ministry. That experience has led me to donate 5 per cent of profits to a charity working in Liberia. The majority of photographs are from three places: Argentina, where I lived with my financee for three months on career break from my work at HM Treasury; Miami, where we stayed for around nine months; and Chicago, the hometown of my fiancee and a place we've visited together many times.
On March 1st we're getting married and I'll be moving to Fort Worth, Texas. Naturally I'm very excited to be able to live again with my fiancee in a new place. I'll be sure to take plenty of photographs along the way. If you'd like to see them, be sure to follow me on twitter and join my newsletter using the links at the bottom of this page.
Thanks for visiting, and I hope you enjoy my photos.
